Join us for a joint USGBC & IES March Branch Meeting on Wednesday, March 16th from 11:30am -1 pm

Our noted speaker will be Fred Oberkircher, FIESNA, Educational IALD, IDA, LC. Mr. Oberkircher’s accomplishments include: President of IES (2009-2010), Emeritus Associate Professor at Texas Christian University, & Philips DayBrite Ambassador for Lighting Education.

Living Buildings: Moving Beyond Words to Actions

Discuss current built examples of design-based energy efficient buildings

In the spirit of collaboration, the US Green Building Council Mississippi Chapter and the Lazio Chapter of the the Green Building Council Italia have joined forces. They signed a memorandum of understanding in 2010, making them “Sister Chapters”.

The Mississippi Chapter of the USGBC formally introduced this year’s new Board at its meeting on January 29th.

In working to unite the State’s three branches, the North Branch would like to recognize this year’s Board.
