Public Comments on Certified Wood Products in LEED due by Oct. 14
The second public comment period on USGBC’s work on certified wood products in LEED is now open. USGBC is seeking comments on the revised USGBC Forest Certification Benchmark (“the Benchmark”) and additional changes to LEED Materials and Resources credits that recognize the use of certified wood products. When approved by USGBC membership, the Benchmark is a collection of criteria against which forest certification schemes will be evaluated to determine which schemes gain recognition in the LEED green building certification program.
This public comment period closes October 14 at 5:00 p.m. PST. Please visit the LEED Rating System Drafts page to view the proposed revisions and submit comments.
